Day 3: Niagara Falls, Canada

Niagara Falls

What great feet to stare at a 53 meters tall waterfall dispersing on average 150, 000 gallons of water per second. The Niagara Falls located in the center of Ontario is one of the most amazing waterfalls to gaze at.

This waterfall though has not always been this magnificent, as it was covered with 2km thick ice-sheets some 18000 years ago. It attracts a whooping 12million tourists yearly and so be sure to have a lot of company when you get there.

Queen Victoria Park is usually the main area for viewing the falls, which extends from the Rainbow Bridge to the brink of the Canadian Falls. You can take a Boat Ride with The Lady of the Mist or maybe The Whirlpool Jetboat (which definitely gives that adrenaline rush)below the falls or try Zip lining the waterfall.

There are a plethora of possible things to do in the area, close to the Falls is an Imax theatre, Observation Tower and Casinos. Not far away from the site are helicopter rides to rainbows of the waterfall. The Cave of Winds is a much more exciting spot to view the waterfall, where you get a perspective view of the waterfall.

All reviews from travel agencies like TripAdvisor give a 5-star rating and therefore earns a top spot for "MUST GO" travel destinations.
